About NextGen
The biggest differentiator between each step on our pathway isn't simply ability—it's the intensity of the environment. That intensity is created by the attitude, willingness to learn, and desire of the players to challenge themselves and demonstrate their ability at a higher level. As players progress through the pathway, they join groups where everyone shares a similar mindset, creating an environment that naturally raises the standard and helps every player continue to develop relative to their commitment levels.
Led by experienced, FA-qualified coaches, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality coaching that combines professional standards with an enjoyable experience. We recognise that every player develops at their own pace, so our coaching is tailored to provide the right balance of support and challenge for each individual.

Pathway Football Explained
The pathway is designed to maximise both enjoyment and development. As players grow in confidence, commitment, and desire to improve, they naturally progress into environments with greater intensity, where they are surrounded by teammates who share similar attitudes and ambitions. This creates a healthy competition, encourages players to work hard, and rewards their commitment with broader experiences, including higher-level coaching, additional training opportunities, and competitive match environments.
A key feature of our pathway is the overlap between each stage. Players regularly train in at least two steps, normally from neighbouring groups, meaning the step up is gradual rather than abrupt. This ensures every player is continually challenged without feeling overwhelmed, while making the differences between each stage clear through the intensity, expectations, and commitment of the players within each environment—not simply their ability.
